I like the simple hand style. You should do more with these icon-like hands. I think this is a good T-shirt but I wouldn't wear it as it swears.

Again, the peace movement is almost as violent as any type of war movement. Real change happens through the people, not sloganism.

I would wear it, this one gets a 5. Why would we stop promoting peace, the war is still going on and I personally think everyone should be showing in anyway possible that they want it to end. and the middle finger is funny.

srhkrilla, not everyone has the same opinions as you. some people may not want the war to end :)

and also, the peace/war shirts are way overdone... and sorry, but I wouldn't wear a hand flicking someone off on my shirt..

Well victimofopportunity,

I think everyone has the right to their oppinion, our oppinions on the war just happen to be different I guess. But I like that the shirt looks pretty and says something meaningful.

The midle finger doesnt bother me, I think I am just more liberal then you, I ment no harm by my comments.

Calagraphic I think your stuff is great and you should keep it up. It's a shame this stuff probably wont get printed cause I think it looks very professional and it is very smart.

This is a rather nice idea, but I don't really see how the middle finger symbolizes war. Meanwhile the 'peace symbol" made with the fingers and hand does symbolize peace.

I like anti-wat shirts in general, but nothing about this makes me want to wear it.

For one thing, with the size of the text mnost people are just going to see the hands and not read the words. They are just going to think i am wearing a random, crude shirt, which is the opposite of what you are going for.

"want peace? prepare for war"

i like the concept

i agree with most of the other comments

I think more people will get offended by the middle finger on the shirt alone and that will overshadow the message the shirt is trying to get across. Maybe change the middle finger to 3 fingers held up which could signify "W" for war and 3 for the third world war.

AudreyMyHeart's advice sounded cool, and I agree about the overshadowing that the middle finger conveys. The shirt is very clean and smart. The first thing I noticed was the mathmatics. Very cool. Then the message I liked. Postitive critisism rules..I also liked what bone daddy says about change happens through the people. $5

Seriously, I am tired of all the anti-bush/war/etc. shirts. Threadless needs like a section or contest or something for them.

Thread less is great as you can find T-shirts that can uniquely identify you and your values.

I think there should be far more political T shirts and Calagraphic is filling the vacuum.

Only problem is they rarely get printed as people who do not support the views will autmoaticly rate this as bad regardless of the design.

Having said this I'm not too fond of this one as the middle finger doesn't symbolize war or at least is not universally recognised for it, so this T shirts motive can only be understood via the writing.
