The art is good, but the koi thing is kind of overdone. And if that yellow thing in the corner is a logo or something like that, people hate logos. I'd try a new concept, the art skills seem to be there, but try something that's a little different. Congratulations on your first sub!

That's not a logo, but a Japanese vintage stamp. Thanks for the comment anyway.

The shirt make me want to gasp and yawn at the same time. The art is increadable, but the shirt is a little boring, you need a better concept. Again, you have the skill as an artist, which is by far the most important thing, you just need a better idea.

Also get rid of the little triangle of flesh next to the eye; people have that, fish don't.

agree with staffell. i keep seeing designs of kois made of leaves, or kois with leaves and shit around them. i don't get it. explain it to me and then stop making them.

I like koi fishes no matter how many times i see them. The fins look a little weird to me though. 4

Don't be bothered by the children. Their mothers never taught them manners, by the looks of it. I quite like the placement of the koi and love to draw them myself. On one hand I like the naive style, but on the other I find the fin pose seems unnatural -perhaps if they pointed backwards and down. Otherwise I think it's fairly true to the koi representation in japanese literature. Great work!

I'd wear it. Sure you see Koi on paintings and tatoos, but not so often on shirts... I think it's gorgeous in monocolor as well!

i'm probably repeating people, but...
the art on this is incredible. i like the emotion/humanity of the fishes eyes. i guess i just wish it showed more, like i understand something more of the fish, with it not just being an interesting thing to look at |

I love the blue on white, but yeah...the pectoral fins are tad off. Never too much koi in the world though, happy lil' fish :) Congrats on your first submission, it's nice.

i could see this being sold in tattoo parlors because it resembles the art so much, plus kois are totally awesome fare in that crowd. its a great first try to kudos to you. keep on going this way!

Loverly! I sure hope kois are never overdone, for the sake of all those people with koi tattoos. This is a great alternative (to getting a tattoo) and I would buy it.

It's nice, but as a painting. For a t-shirt, it might be a bit off. Good job, though, good art.
