the US is sort of an ugly shape. and they're all island countries (granted the whole UK verses Britain thing is a little confusing to me).

This is really confusing because "word" is clearly US slang -- not Japanese, English, or Australian slang (although it probably is used in reference to hip hop culture).

i love finding different language in other 'English' speaking countries. i know all about your trash cans (rubbish bins), flash lights (torches), black top (tarmac) and sweaters (jumpers) .. but what is 'word'??

i agree with Janice, at the very least, if the 'word' can be figured and the niche concept understood...I think its important to include all of each country, you can't leave out tasmania, its Just Not Cricket!



put tasmania in, and its halfway there! :)
