It's too sketchy... it took me a long time to realize that was a cat's paw.
And what's up with the cheese being different? |

It hard to tell it's a paw... i'm not sure what you can to make it more paw-ish, though. I like the sketchy style and the fat little mouse, but make the cheese in the sketchy style too, since it looks out of plce now.

i like the idea, but it does need more. i like that its sketchy, but this is too rough and can be confusing. the cheese also needs to be fit in with the rest of the design.

i thought it looked like a cat TAIL, that the mouse had been out and come home to find the cat INSIDE his hole. But I see the claws now. Unfortunately, there's nothing interesting about a cat paw reaching into a mouse hole. It's just too ubiquitous.
Maybe try drawing a twist on the usual (like what I thought or something else) to make it more interesting. |
