I'd definately go with big, since you want to walk in a room and make it perfectly apparent to everyone you're wearing your formal tire for the occasion rather than just some t-shirt.

totally agree with Ryan, BIG! It's supposed to be funny, and small would make it hard to see.

Tragically, not all puns make good shirts. This is a good try, but things would be much improved if you got rid of those black outlines.

Yeah--after I submitted it, I started playing with it more, and found it looked much better without outlines. But if I do say so myself, I think this pun does make a good shirt!
