What's not appropriate about it? It wants to be a Phoenix. Phoenix were thought of (in some representations) as being engulfed in fire.

It has nothing to do with violence or suicide.

It's a good idea, a very good design... maybe you should change it somehow so it does not look like a suicide attempt.

thanks orillese, couldn't have put it any better. this sub wasn't meant to be some type of suicidal thing. i just drew it one day in class. i didn't look at it as a suicidal thing nor violence it was just a way to pass the time in class.. but geeze.. way to put this shit down

lol, funny people didnt see the phoenix thing. Maybe putting "phoenix" in the title would help -- really i think it is obvious... but then again my mind is not always operating the same as the rest of the human population.

Yeah I saw phoenix straight away. But i can also see the suicidal thing too. What you could dois have it flying away from a box of matches with another brid looking on or about to do the same thing. Then suicide wouldn't be brought into it at all.

I saw the phoenix thing straight away too... but I do think that the humour is meant to derive from the fact that the chicken is about to become roast chicken and not a phoenix (unless he rise from the ashes). I certainly don't find it offensive, but I guess that's what is sparking (sorry) the negative reaction.

I like it. I got the phoenix Idea right away, I didn't even think suicide. Quite Amusing! People are just dumb sometimes it's not the designers fault for people being stupid.

I like this, funny idea. And I dont understand people who just mocks other peoples designs. If you dont like some peoples designs, tell them what they could do to make it better!
