 In the cold coastal waters of Switzerland, there lies a beast that strikes terror into the hearts of men. With a tool for any situation, and unmatched versatility, the Swiss Army Octopus is one of nature's most resourceful creatures. It's never met a bottle or can it can't open, a nail it can't file, or a screw it can't drive. It was typically carried by the Swiss military in small saltwater tanks, until its later replacement by a smaller, more convenient, less violent device.

i LOVE your style and the colors are also great, but i wouldn't wear this one :/ but you obviously have LOTS of talent, so please make some more designs so that we can enjoy your awesomeness :D 5$ even tho i wouldn't wear this one, it's just too cool to be given any less ;)

I love all the tools except...the broken bottle? That doesn't come on any swiss army knife i've seen! (& I've seen the 80-odd tool one.) I love the concept but that makes it too violent for my wardrobe. The octopus is soooo cool though! Can't he have a magnifying glass or compass or something? (I'd buy 3 of those!)

Sorry, Ivywillow... there are probably less violent Swiss Army Octopi, but this one is angry. ...that broken bottle was a failed attempt with the Bottle Opener. And, while he may be a Swiss octopus, he still enjoys a little Irish fencing. (O_~)

Thanks for all the great feedback, everyone, I really appreciate it! I actually toyed around with the idea of putting a Swiss flag on him, or in the design somewhere, but I thought it would just clutter it up and restate the obvious. ...plus, without red, I don't think it would work. I wanted to stay 4-color.

(O_O)! What do you mean?? My Swiss Army knife has a broken bottle on it. ...what kind of outdated model did you buy, Mr. Bacon? The Broken Bottle attachment is an idea the Swiss adapted from the Irish Army knife. It was used as a combat knife/bayonet of sorts. |

Yes, the Octopus is an ornery creature by nature. Providing said animals with cutlery only serves to enhance their natural tendency for mischief. Thanks again for your feedback and comments, everyone! The voting is almost at an end! (O_O)! Thank god, 'cause the suspense is keeeling me!
