Yo dawg, Im assuming this is supposed to represent the recent outlawing of physical contact in public schools? That's my assumption dude. If I am right, the message is still unclear man. The execution needs a lot of work too, the style of the people and the sign completely clash, and the overall colors are pretty boring. Don't let this deter you dawg, just keep doin your thing. You'll get there.

the piece is from a photo i took of two kids at school and the sign was an adjusted version of a real sign in I found in Paris (that is how it was displayed) The rest is up to you. Thanks again... |

Anyhow, I love this design and I think the contrast of the sign style and the people style is what makes the design. The only thing is I hate the placement. Center it please. $4. |

no, i found a sign similar to this in paris ...the frame is what i decided to keep, because it was so unique.

I don't like how the legs are uneven on the sign. I know it's supposed to look like their walking, but I'd prefer if they were standing, less awkward, and matches the real couple.

It looks like the auto-trace tool in Illustrator was used. It needs more of a simple, hand-drawn look to it.

bluemaureen I did not use auto trace, I painted it in Photoshop...it might look that way because I posterized the photo 1st.

mezo on Jun 26 '07 That really does look ugly. The figures are...lumpy and weird looking and they look even more weird when put against against a more vector/clean sign. Did you know the legs of your sign aren't even even? Which is not visually correct. Overall? This submission physically hurts me. But please keep practicing! 2
