I don't know, it just seems like something you'd see in a gift shop. I like your eye design much better.

I don't seem to get the joke here -- the pawns just seem to be scratching their butts?

I think it is a reference to that scene in Braveheart where they all lift their kilts... so on that level it seems about 10 years late to the party.

Yes, I think it is a reference to the Braveheart scene too, but I see no kilts so it's confusing. The colours are very nice and this does have a slick look to it. It's nicely rendered, but the concept is a bit off.

I don't understand this at all. I agree with Simon though, this was rendered fabulously. Good luck!

Well, I haven't seen Braveheart. So from my view, if I saw you wearing this shirt, I'd probably say "Who the heck designed that? I mean, what were they thinking!"

I like the chess. I try to making it less boring,... then I was thinking in the movie brave heart and everything came out this way...

The two problems that make the joke not work (aside from the problem if the viewer hadn't seen the movie) are:

1. no kilts or anything else being lifted, so we can't tell that that's what they're doing. The pawn equivalent of something would help.

2. They're mooning... us. The viewer. Who do not appear to have any pieces on the board at all. They have no army to moon!

I think this could be a cute concept if it were executed as, say, a side view, with the pawns on the left mooning the opposing pieces on the right. Probably have to be diagonal so that you could see the row. Or, viewed from the mooning pawns' side, but over the heads of the queen/king, so that we get just a glimpse of the pawns on our side bending over, and then we get an array of reaction shots from the pieces on the side that's being mooned.

i know i'm late to the party, but this would've been awesome if "FREEDOM" was scrawled on the top instead of the laughing horse and "bravechess"... maybe even with the king throwing the sword somehow...
