For something as lively as candy and sweets you should be using brighter colours so that it pops. Right now the colours are rather muted and this design isn't nearly as strong as it could be. Also, if you would have drawn each item individually and not just reflected them it could help. Having it so symetrical makes the design much less interesting.

Not a bad submission. The candies right near the word "sweet" though... my initial thought was "sausage?" Was a bit odd.

I'd rock this on yellow not a darker colour, I hate to admit this but I agree with some of what simon says up top. The colours could "pop" a little more than what they do. Other than that it's a rad first sub! Keep it up.

Yeah dawg... i understand what your going for... but the symmetry / reflected look is kinda killin it for me man. I think with some brighter colors and a little more variation, you might be on the right track dude.
