This is really well drawn, except (and I didn't notice this in the crits) that her neck seems kind of... too long. I realise she's arcing it, but still. It bugs me.

mj00 on Jun 14 '07 I agree with 13strong (and add to that some additional concerns about whether its actually possible to stand quite like that). Not that it matters much, as this is pretty awesome. There are some really great textures in there, and I love your colors.

Ellsswhere on Jun 15 '07 amazing use of color and texture, i really mean that, however her pose is painful to look at, also if you know how to use flash you should import jpeg files into flash and sub it as .fla so you don't have that terrible gif compression.

it's a great illustration, better than 99% of the stuff on this site.
so I'm trying to figure out what's bugging me. maybe it's just the obviously male-drawn comic book "I sit at home in my room and draw girls instead of talking to them" boobs. yeah, I think that's it. otherwise BEAUTIFUL. |

I'd almost like it better without the shirt.. it's kind of weird that all the natural fluidity is broken up by the folds of the shirt... but everybody hates boobs on threadless so whatever :P

I love the amount of detail and the overall effect, but the twist of the torso seems overexaggerated and makes the legs look odd. Also she has very perky breasts and kind of droopy wings, though I don't suppose I know where wings would actually be set on a person.
All in all though it's a great composition and the colors work really well together. |

Oh, I like it a lot. The boobs don't worry me too much, they've actually got quite a natural braless look to them. I espcially adore the look of a classical subject in a modern comic book style. I don't usually wear white tops or tops with girls on (just in case they're prettier than me XD), but I'll buy it if it gets through.

this is AMAZING work. my only issue is with the wings...they look more like curtains to me as they are. i'd say to either make them more feathery-looking or make them less flowy and a bit more upright. this is so gorgeous though...i'm jealous as hell i can't draw that way.
