Is this a joke because there is also a band called Placebo? Because if not, this is weird to me- I'd expect a placebo to be the ultimate slacker, because placebos do nothing. I'd want to see other pills do all the work while the placebo gets praised for doing nothing.

Yeah, it would even still work with the band idea- lead singers get all the credit (which would be even more maddening in an instrumental group).

ps- I actually love Placebo. They're not that well-known out of Europe, but Velvet Goldmine fans definitely remember them fondly.

mjoo makes some really good points at, well, almost every sub i read his/her feedback. The idea of the pill slacking on the couch, being fat, slovenly and lazily clicking a remote control whilke uttering "im a placebo" would be much funnier. Kinda like Homer Simpsons in pill form.
