My other submissions

Crippled Iguana
The real reason they never continued with the series. That Doc never gets his directions straight.

is the delorian encapsulated in amber? LOL cool

Yes, I'd like to make mention about Fatheed's recent submission. He submitted about a week or two previous to mine but unfortunately I didn't catch it until a day after sending mine in for approval! Anyway, BTTF rocks, so everyone should enjoy both designs.

Wrong turn into a Jello mold?

It's amber you moron. The bug is too big for the car but apart from that funny idea.

no need to name call, people are just used to seeing jelly.

the amber does look a little off, maybe make it a little more orange? It looks like a gold nugget to me atm. But i like the concept, the delorian looks great & leave the bug as is.

I am not sure about the shadow...

Pre-historic bugs are huge, so I thought it'd be fun. And without the shadow the whole thing sort of just floats. I'll have to try an oranger version sometime to see if it looks better.

Good concept, but i don't like the how Marty is positioned or how he looks compared to the real deal. Perhaps with him sitting on top of the Delorean? Nice out-there idea tho.

I love this idea, but I didn't know what it was till I read the blogs. I can't say I know what to do to make it clearer, but I hope that you will keep trying.

I think the amber idea is hard to imagine because amber is fossilized tree sap. I know that there are giant redwoods out there, but I can't fathom a tree big enough to make a sap blob so huge.

On the other hand, my first thought when I saw this was that BTTF had been crossed with Buckaroo Banzai, and they were inside a solid rock. Then I thought they were in water, but you'd simply colored the water gold.

Isn't it funny that I can accept the premises of time travel (BTTF) and travel through solid rock (BB), but giant amber doesn't seem at all plausible?

Yo dawg, Im diggin the concept, no doubt. I just think it coulda been executed better dude. Not really sure why marty would be standing outside the car like that as he gets trapped in amber man. Keep at it though... keep doin your thing.

Oh, Idea!

What about layers in the earth -- you know like a cross section of the the ground.

Then there can be layers of different things:

Skeletons in Roman gear
Cavemen skeletons
Levels of Dinosaur skeletons from different periods and the Delorian level with a human skeleton wearing a puffy vest and jeans.
Some early vertebrates and early marine creatures
Bottom of shirt.
