I'm between liking the wingdings and not liking it. Might try playing with the amount of symbols, a "less is more" kind of thing. I'll tell you what I really dig though: the shadows. Good touch!

I love the teeth on the dog, he's getting ready to 'clomp' down on it. I think there is too much stuff over the ufo, tho - it looks crowded. A couple of choice ones, perhaps?

Good concept. but I think the UFO is too soft and round while the rest of it is too angular. Also, the shadow is off.

Yeah, great concept! I'd like to the dog to come out clearer, though. And agree that the stuff over the UFO isn't needed. Oh, I DO hope it gets printed!

Some people love the exclamations while others don't, and maybe a simple alien crossbones and an exclamation mark would have done it. Still, it was fun doing this piece and I hope I can come up with better designs soon. |

This is a "look closer" t-shirt design. A person is not going to "get this" from 15 feet away, no matter what you do. So arguments about whether or not you should have the alien swearing are a bit moot, as the viewer is going to need to be peering at the design to "get it" anyhow. While they're there, they may as well be amused by the !@*^#%.
I think this is great the way it is, way to use the critique section first, I wish more submitters would do that! Nice job. |

Love the concept and the design, but really don't like the stuff over the UFO. I agree with Mouche that if the UFO was more detailed, the stuff above it would be unnecessary. Maybe some windows along the circumference, right above the "frisbee" part of it?
Love everything about this T-shirt, except that annoying alien gibberish. Would consider it strongly as is, but would buy it in a heartbeat with edits. |

I kinda like the wingdings, but perhaps they should be a bit less or maybe at a different angle.
I think it would lack something without some kind of expression on the UFO's behalf; the wingdigs reinforce that the situation is a mishap and makes it more understandable, in my opinion. |

This is my first sub, so I'm not very clear with how a resub would work. I had the general idea that all the ammendments would be done in the critique section. Wouldn't threadless stop me from resubmitting the same design with minor changes?

I love this! I like the green tones. I think it needs something above, maybe just the alien skull and crossbones and the exclamation mark. Although I would also buy it as is.

i'm not a fan of the wingdings. i feel that it detracts from the picture. without them it would be way more subtle and smart.

It's a perfect design leave the wingdings- it shows the state of mind of the occupants @#*!!!. Otherwise it might be just an unmanned robotic drone or a weird looking frisbee. I would probably buy it if it was shades of grey/black/white on heather green or slate.

I really like the concept but the dog and trees seem extremely flat and plain. Work on that and I think you may be going to Hollywood.

I love it. Great art. I especially like the shadows, and the dog's teeth and general shape.
i agree, less stuff over the UFO. But I would be dissuaded from buying it if it had a skull and crossbones. It's cute in itself, and could be great incorporated into another design, but I don't like skulls on my clothes at all. Its too negative. I think an exclamation mark would be sufficient. |
