i really didnt get this at all until i read Nachoman's comment. i think the hole should have more deffinate teeth marks (if it is a shark bite that is implied)

FRICKINAWESOME on Jun 12 '07 Not really a concept for me my good man, but the drawing is top notch and a little different for you in a good way. I think i woulda liked it a ton more if there was a fin in the water with a lil hint of red in the pool, that way the whole joke would be just HOW DID a shark get in the pool AND jump up that high! lol. Still a good sub, FM. Of course.

The bubbles are not aligned according to perspective if that is where someone fell from the platform. They should be smaller, back towards the tower and to the right. That might be why people are thinking a shark was involved.
If a shark didn't bite the platform then what's the gag? Shoddy construction? Since concrete structures do collapse and diving accidents do happen, both without much cause for good laugh, I'm not clear on what the joke is. Very sharp, glennz-like execution of the drawing, but the humour isn't particularly strong in this one. |

Greg Louganis ineed...maybe put judges' scores of zeroes somewhere or judge cards that spell...I dunno... Ouch or Oh shit...I like execution though. Very clean.

This is supposed to be a pool, right? To be it looks less like a high dive and more like some sort of thing you'd find in a factory, maybe a little too industrial. If there were, like, other people in swimsuits around or a lifeguard stand or something around I'd get it more, but it seems like I'm the only one.

You got an actual laugh out of me, when I'm feeling particularly surly today. Excellent work, I'll bet this gets printed. Wish it were on more of a seafoam color, though, because then it would really bring out the public pool feeling. Plus there are already so many shirts printed on light blue!
