I like it a lot. Great idea. I'd love it sans hare. Not only do I think the point is clear without him, but the rabbit is inferior in design as well as speed.
It would be really cool if you could come up with a way of showing the rabbit, in the distance, on the upper back of the shirt, or even the lower back, like he's trying to catch up. |

mezo on Jun 15 '07 Clever! With some minor adjustments on the hare (change color to gray, round out his head, ditch the tears) you would have yourself a winner. I do think the hare is important to keep.

Cecil Turtle pulled the same gag on Bugs Bunny in "Rabbit Transit," except he was rocket-propelled. So in spite of the very good drawing, the idea is not original. By the way, Cecil ended up 3-0 against Bugs by cheating in varous and sundry ways. I think he's the only character to consistently get the best of Bugs.

I think leaving the hare out would make the shirt work better. That and it makes people who see it think a bit, so the "ah-hah!" factor much greater once it's figured out. And if it isn't, well, the shirt becomes a great conversation starter.

I think the thing that bothers me is that the rabbit is to big compared to the turtle.

I've seen this before.... In a Looney Toon..... That bothers me. $2 maybe more with just the tortoise.
