In short... my daughter, who is 4, has been hounding me for ages to sub something to “teeless" (hahaha... that's what she calls it). The concept is loosely interpreted from one of her dreams which featured “cuddly bear animals, stars and boats” ... her words.

I kept it quite simple/cute and initially intended for threadlesskids but felt the theme for this comp also fitted the design. She approved it, her only request was to add belly buttons to the characters!... the thought bubble is optional btw.

Its cute, and I like the art style. I think maybe it might be a bit better without the thought bubble, but it could honestly go either way.

While I like the design, I don't see it as "awkward" very much, but much more so that some of the other designs submitted. Nice Job!

Amazing how much better it is without the little thought bubble. The scene has an added layer of hope and possibility that got shot down by the "You Wish". And it would make a much better kids shirt that way too!
