No, monkey-style has more open fingers. Leopard style is defined by the tight curling of the fingers, reminiscent of a leopard's paws. It might not be completely apparent in the line art, but that's what the hand is doing.

The duck looks like someone's gonna get the meanest titty twister of their lives! Very fun shirt design....but it might benefit from some different color outlines and brigther shirt.

I posted several colorways in the critique section before submitting, and this was the most popular, so it made sense to go with it.

This reminds me of that Venture Bros. episode 'Assassany 911', where Molotov Cocktease is teaching the brothers the different styles

The first 3 are actual Kung Fu Five Animals styles (the five original animals being Tiger, Leopard, Crane, Snake and Dragon; there are others such as Eagle, Monkey, Dog and Praying Mantis). The duck is just the shadow puppet 'form' a duck.

Is that the "Chinese takeaway" font?

i don't like the font, it's a little bit too stereotypical asian (myself being a white-washed asian, i'm opposed to this). other than that, i kinda don't like how it the 4 in a row sit on the shirt, but i guess that can't be helped. $4.

I use the crane when the big bullies (my friends, who are usually bigger than me - I'm pretty slim and fairly easy to throw around). It's feared amoung those who know me, and I learned it from one of my big brother's friends, who's now selling bibles in Sydney.

When I see that "I'm gonna wrestle ya"-look in their eyes, I lower myself into attack-mode and ready the crane. For those not knowing the definite ensuing agony, the crane will be a world of pain (Donny), but those who have been there have the opportunity to lay down arms and walk away.

It's nice to know some pseudo kung-fu when in highschool :D

Crane Tiger Leopard Duck

Kinda too late now! I know what you mean, I don't think it's a major problem. Imagine a badly-dubbed kung-fu hero saying "You fool! I know all 4 animal styles: the Crane! the Tiger! the Leopard!....the Duck!". Sounds weird without the 'the's =)

The Snake is a flat hand with the thumb tucked right underneath. The Crane and Snake are similar forms, but the crane makes more of a 'beak' shape. The Duck is a shadow puppet!
