wow. mario is the first thing i thought of when i saw the flower and flames. i can't believe everybody didn't get the mario reference lol. especially with the artist's comment about eating a red mushroom lol Um, juggernaut, the designer's comments aren't gonna on the shirt explaining what in the sam hell is happening to the people walking by you. I think the Mario reference is too subtle, but others seem to disagree. And it's all good, yo. |

I didn't get the Mario reference because I never played it. But I think this design is strong enough that it doesn't matter; if you never played any mario games, then it just looks like a cute little bit of randomly absurd humor. Which is often a good thing.
Now I have Cake's "Sheep Go to Heaven" in my head. |

I didn't get the Mario ref either since I never played it. I thought it would be fun if the fire flower was replaced with a chilli plant, though :D (On the other hand that would screw up the Mario ref).
And Vixyish, now "Monkey gone to Heaven" by Pixies is in my head! |

The only thing i would change is the tshirt colour so that the grass would stand out more. Maybe a bit more grass colour and the shirt a bit of a lighter green. I love it and will by it.
