Very very cute image and I really like how your style is almost a 50's callback. Also, using the halftones you manage to get a whole lot of work out of your five colors, which is awesome. However, without your added text I'm not sure I'd be able to figure out what was happening n the picture. Not that I think you should add the text to the shirt (that would ruin its awesome composition), but I wonder if there were a design way to clarify what was happening?

ninja, my first one yipee! I think this is a cool design but I wasn't sure exactly what was going on without the "go forth my robot creation" comment on your design. I almost thought the boy and robot had a thing going but I'm not sure how you would clarify that. Maybe if you had the boy showing the robot a picture of a little girl that would make things clearer

i dont think it needs clarification. the kid is obliviously sending the robot forth.
.... but in my head the robot is going to go defeat an alien invade with some smooth moves an sweet loving, in stead of the normal giant monster fighting.. |

Don't add another person. The little boy is clearly pointing, I don't think this is a confusing scene at all.
My only criticism of this is about the half-tone circle in back. Is it really needed? If so, could it be heart-shaped instead. Overall, I really like the style of this, nice work. |

I really love this. The style of it, and the idea. The only thing that struck me right away is that the boy is far too young to care about girls yet, haha. But that is immaterial. Beautiful design.

mjoo, an earlier version of the design didn't have the halftone circle, the design looked kinda flat. I think it makes it pop. It could very well be heart shaped that is a great idea.
