mjoo: what is on that link? is it the same design? just curious because when i click it, it comes up blank but on the page says "Dalissimo" or something like that. don't know french, not familiar with that tee shirt site...ummm.....was a design removed from there??

Jebs on Jun 08 '07 No problems!!!!! that's me, i also send designs to Lafraise as i am french, but i was disappointed by the score in progress, and the comments, so i sent it to Threadless. i don't see the problem anywhere especially because i sent it first to Lafraise, and then to THreadless (i know that i must wait 90 days if i remember well to send a design elsewhere) ;-)
and of course not the design is still being scored for 24h on lafraise. |

Jebs on Jun 08 '07 there is a bug on comments... my comment was partially erased...so, what did i say? thank you all! and to answer fatheed, as you are one of my favorites designers in Threadless, you can easily understand that it's always an honor to read you on my designs ;-) about the hitchock, i still hope, even if time is running away, and that's not a good news for an eventual print ;-)

mj00 on Jun 08 '07 I believe the rule is that if you submit to Threadless, you are granting them exclusive rights to option your design until 90 days after scoring (at which point you can do as you please, though you should notify Threadless if your work is printed elsewhere). Since your design was already featured on another page and currently scoring, it was in violation of the rules from the very beginning.
If my understanding is correct, you should have waited until after scoring had finished at La Fraise. Then there'd be no problem. If someone official wants to clarify this, I think it would be very helpful. Also, I think a lot of confusion comes from people who don't have access to the rules in their native language. Perhaps it's worth the investment to get the rules translated, Threadless? |

Jebs on Jun 08 '07 hi again Mjoo...well, perhaps i missed something or you missed something, or we missed both something lol. I explain, Lafraise doesn't have this rule of waiting the scoring to be finished, or waiting 90 days...so sending first to Lafraise, and no printing at the end, and sending the design then to Threadless (meanwhile it's in the running at lafraise) is not a violation (of course, if i do so, it's because my design was not so highed score at Lafraise, disappointing comments, and had no chances to be printed)...i mean, i know graphists at lafraise who did the same, and be printed in Threadless with no complains, no problems. But, anyway, i agree with you about a official who would clarify this, i don't want to lose a print because of a rule that i didn't know the existence... but honsetly, i don't see a violation of the rules here, i would'nt have sent the design if i thought it was a violation... ;-)

Jebs on Jun 11 '07 thanks!!!!! you know, Dali is one of my favorites too...i don't remember if i said that earlier, but i went to Spain two years ago, it was obvious that the museum of Dali was a must -see...it was a Monday, i forgot like an a**-ho** that on Monday, the museums are closed...so the only thing i saw was postcards on Figueiras lol but one day, i'll go there!
