The boy's shadow is really awkward. And I don't really like the placement of the kids on the Tee...
But it's an absolutely beautiful design and you're very talented. |
great, just a suggestion:
you could maybe place the little girl on the shoulder opposite of the boy... |
this is rather powerful. only i thought it was breast cancer at first; wish there was a way to distinguish
iamtenninjas, maybe is the placement confuse you. I believe that the placement option will look good.
Thanks for voting. |

The boy is drawing on sand, I think it is not make sense to make the ribbon red.
But the victim in this design is a boy, it will look more HIV than Breast Cancer I think. |
you still have them facing the same way, that's kind of a disappointment. i think it would be more cohesive if the girl was facing right instead of left.
the point is that the boy is devastated and the girl is happy. I think that the artwork is amazing, as usual, but could never wear such a depressing design on my shirt.

one more comment... I agree that having a subtle red shading on the ribbon would help get the aids message across.
I'll 5$ it anyway, but I'd probably only buy if some proceeds went to charity. |
you really are talented :) good job.. HIV?? i thought it was cancer.. oh well :) i get the idea :) 5

I really like this one. I love the placements of the two different images. Reminds me a bit of peter rabbit.
Flying Mouse, I have a suggestion for you. Maybe make a small red ribbon on the sleeve.
Don't change this beautiful drawing. |
FM, I think Kallass suggestion to have a small red ribbon on the sleeve will make more sense/appropriate.
5$! for the Awesome design + Great message! =) |
Yeah, I think the red ribbon on the sleeve would clear things up. Honestly, I thought it was breast cancer at first, too. :) $5
I know you had HIV in mind when you did this, but the ribbon could stand for any disease/cause that took his family away. I don't think it needs to be any more specific.
I think whether it stands for cancer, AIDS, or the troops ribbon, it doesn't matter. Because all of them affect people. It is more powerful when it is left open to interpretation.
That's fantastic, but very depressing. I don't think it'd wear it, 'cause it's a bit too "heavy", but the concept and the artwork are stunning :)
Gorgeous. The placement in the original is superior.
It's designs like this that make me wish I was a girl... no nevermind that. |
This design is brilliant. The symbolism has caused (slight) confusion, but just look at the flood of comments... it draws a response regardless! Job well done.
i'm not sure how we'll know this is HIV without it being the color of the HIV ribbon. otherwise, $5.
I don't think it needs clarification... you can get the feel of the shirt and the real message of 'why me' without needing it spelled out
Or...you could leave the ribbon uncolored so that people can think what they want as far as which cause the shirt supports.
I like this shirt color much better... the red was a bit too much...
LOVE! I WANT THIS SHIRT! :-D $$$$$5 |
I like this a lot. I think the ribbon can be interpreted as anything, really; HIV/cancer/troops etc. And I wish threadless sold girlie tshirts like the one you used as an example!
