this is my first submission ^_^
I drew it when i was confused about a guy.well, not so much confused as my head and my heart were not in agreeance.

there were other colors I could see this going on, these two are just the ones i decided to sibmit it with.

i like the heart but i wasn't sure that was a brain at first.

i thought the brain was cotton candy fr the first time i saw it, lol. love the heart tho

I don't think you need to refine the art at all...except maybe make the brain a little more brain-like. The cartoons are adorable.

does anyone have suggestions on how to go about making the brain more...brain-like?

I love the brain as is (though making the lines a darker pink would help). To me, the issue is the overall composition of the to images. I don't like the way they appear on the shirt, it seems unfinished. I think they either need to have their positions line up horizontally or they need an environment to exist in (maybe shadows would be enough?). Everything floats a bit too much for my taste.

The brain looked like a raspberry swirl icecream cone at first :)

just make the brain lines darker like mjoo said.

and the brain folds should not be some floaty lines. they should connect, swirl, etc. be more cohesive like a real brain. otherwise i thought it was a stomach.

I like the concept, but agree also didn't recognize the brain without reading your comment on it.

That is great! I've love it more if the art was tweaked a bit. Maybe having the brain being in profile a bit more would make it more obvious what it is. Usually when I see pics or drawings of brains they are in profile and we can clearly see that lower part.

I'd buy this just for the heart, so loose the brain.. it's not even neccesarry
