mj00 on Jun 04 '07 Yeah, this is very similar to your other Red submission. If you must resubmit, I'd prefer to see more drastic changes and more time between submissions.
As far as this goes, I'm not digging the concept. It's a Shaun of the Dead fan shirt, and doesn't have any pop-cultural appeal beyond that (unlike the recently printed Thriller shirt, which is iconic). |

forget what the other people say...i love it...something like that would get strange looks from others, always entertaining...true fans of the movie would get a laugh out of it. i think it's great!

This is a resub.
Love Shaun of the Dead. Don't mind the design - didn't mind the 1st version of this which is essentially the same. It's nothing personal (and I'm going to be very careful after my run-in with Brandon on Clouds love Rainbows Redux), but the rule about resubmissions is there for a reason. It didn't win the first time round and, while I appreciate the trouble you've gone to adding more detail, you haven't done enough to make this substantially different. As BlameThe Suburbs said, you would be better served moving on with something new. |

it is a resub, yes. i worked to redesign this one the longest because the previous version was my til this point highest scoring design, and other people wanted me to go back to it. also, i don't really understand why it is a problem to act upon the comments given to you on a previous design. besides that, i have nothing much to say. i add again that i am going to change things up with three coming completely new designs. this i resubbed at request after heavy alterations and critiquing, the other design that i have resubbed twice, albeit in my opinion, very different forms, i was just hung up upon from working on it so long. I repeat again that this is, hopefully, the last of my redesigns. ever!

thanks. yeha the way i see it, most people don't see most of the designs while their in scoring. i mean, i'd guess there has to be at least1/2 of the memebers who don't see even the majority of highly rated (i.e. 2.2 or greater) designs. peace ^_^

I appreciate the fact that you want to improve your designs and need feedback in order to do that, and I think that is to be admired. But I would respectfully suggest that you have had that opportunity when this design was critiqued. Once you submit it for voting it's out of your hands. Resubmitting at this point probably won't help you a great deal.
I'm not saying this to be unkind or unhelpful. I did like your design and I'm a huge Wright/Pegg fan, but i think your talent and energy would be better served if you channeled them into a new creation. |

Love Shaun of the Dead, but design aside, I don't think Threadless could legally print a fan shirt like this.

i don't think threadless would even let the shirt go into the judging syahe if they actually thought it was copyright braking. my first version of the designb was differrent, with a less clean pen and pocket, a less complex tie, and much more blood. last and most importantly, thanks to all who enjoy the design and keep it getting scored.

I really like it, but I think it could do without the pen and pocket line. It seems to straight and perfect to be the actual thing, but the nametag totally works. I give it 44 now, $5 if the pen/pocket disappears. :3
