mjoo - damn. Someone showed me that as a print when I first did my design last year. Had no idea they were running with it as a t-shirt, though. Still like mine better, though!

Wow - I appreciate all the comments so far. As far as the shadows go, I played with some more realistic shadows, but I thought it took away from the rest of the design. Besides, I kind of liked the fact that the little girl and the At-At both give off the same shape shadow!

well, i like them both...but i have to admit that when i clicked to see "the original," i did actually laugh out loud a little at that one. it's cute. it really looks like a pet. then again, i do like yours too, because it's more realistic that the girl would be smaller than the at-at. i guess what i'm saying is...i want them both. :)

oh, one thing, though...i do find it odd that the at-at has so much more detail than the girl. she looks more like a shadow herself than a person. but maybe that's just me?

Not only has this been done, it is almost an exact duplicate of a published graffiti artist named banksy... you could get away with stealing this design ONLY because he wants to remain mostly anonymous.

I didn't plagiarize anyone's art for my submission - I'm not Todd Goldman. I've since been made aware of a number of other designs that bear striing similarities to my work here (Banksy's, the piece mentioned earlier in the thread, and a few others) , but I think that speaks to the influence Star Wars has had on the subconscious of my generation more than anything else.

Scottina - I saw that last night as I was googling, as a matter of fact. Very similar to mine, which I originally posted on my website in late '06 after having it sit on my computer for the better part of the year.
