Haha! My friends actually recoil when I use "The Look." I like this, but she reminds me too much of the Bratz dolls or MyScene Barbies (I was a doll collector in a previous life). The eyes and lips are VERY similar to both of those.

I also think the mouth is a bit neutral. Put in a bit of a scowl or cold smile and that would be great.

The closeup looks blurry. I think you might get more mileage out of this design if you use the halftoning more sparingly. It overpowers your line work.

It is supposed to be comic book style mixed with Escher and Lichtenstein. I see how you can see the doll thing though, I like the big eyes... lol. My influences are different than my results perhaps... Heh, always working hard to get better anyways..

great design! i like the use of dots to create value. and i think it'll look great on any of the colors especially the top four. good work =)

For me it's the lips more than anything that are Bratz-like.
