I'm not sure that the halftones are adding anything to this design. The drawing itself is very cute, but the halftones detract from it.

I find the blue-y, wave-y tentacle thingies stand out very strongly... maybe if some of the cute monster guys coming out from the fidge did not have the halftone dot effect it would help to tie it together better.
