I like this a lot. The zombies, are highly reminiscent of traditional Haitan representations of zombies too! A bit like wood-cuts. Awesome.

jstumpenhorst on May 28 '07 thanks! i was trying to work with pattern a little on this sub. i know that some people look down on repeating shapes and so on but i really enjoy it when it can create interesting positive and negative space. i think this does it fairly successfully! please leave comments with your opinion so i can have things to think about the next time i am doing pattern. People who've seen those pictures, don't you agree? No, i don't agree. And "concentration camp attendees"? That sounds like they went to a carnival or a concert, the gates closed, and they turned into death camps. They actually remind me more of aliens than zombies, but either way, i love this shirt. |
