I bet that mermaid has been craving a cigarette for a long-ass time, her native habitat isn't exactly conducive to the habit.
Of course, maybe she did a lot of smoking when she mounted rocks at the end of fantastic crescendos, Ariel style. |

i agree with getting rid of all the background distraction behind the characters and having the 'unemployment agency' on the door or something. but really like.

I agree with moving the 'unemployment agency' to somewhere else. I also thought the unicorn was holding his pants up. Put Jesus in there too and I'd buy it.

fix the door, it's outa perspective compared the characters. it's a great idea. i'll give a 2 now, and if you fix the door and move unemployment office outta the background to the door, i'll give ya 5 and a buy, how's that sound?

Amazing idea, but it's a bit hard to tell what's going on behind them... move the "Unemployment Office" sign out from behind them so that all the text is viewable, clean up the lines of the floor and window, either make the ground a different colour to the wall, and make the text in the star easier to read (or get rid of it - I can't read it at all, so I've no idea whether it's worth keeping or not). Maybe you could get rid of the window altogether and just write "Unemployment Office" on the door? I like it on dark blue, too.

Cute! Looks best on the navy blue, but I agree with the others about putting the words on the door, and the unicorn looks like he is wearing sumo panties. lol $5 anyway

What happened to the Leprechaun's shirt?? LOL This is hilarious. I hope it wins so I can buy it. Dracula looks all suave and sophisticated, even during the hard times. Heehee.

So much you could say about this sub! From the metro Dracula, the manface mermaid, and the rainbow tattoo on the Leprechaun' s belly...WOW. I agree about getting rid of the distracting background. The idea is great and I'm really enjoying the characters. Nice.

I agree with Morgyn's suggestions. Move "unemployment office" sign to the door and get rid of the window and bunny. All those lines detract from the characters. Also, I think the lines of the door are a little too perfect. I'd make the door look a little less vector-drawn. I love the characters, though! (I'd add Jesus, too).

jesus is not a fairy tale character whether you believe in him or not, why do people think he should be here? like others said, it's fantastic but the background is a little busy and the unicorn does look like it's wearing underwear which makes it creepy-old-man-fatty-couch-potato, and that's sure not the kind of unicorn i believed in! :-D

Jesus would fit perfectly with the theme of lost belief. Maybe not for Christians and some other monotheists who see him as more than just a philosopher.

If you want this to stand a chance of being printed, leave religious icons out of it. Though I don't think anyone considers Santa and the Easter Bunny religious icons, so you're probably safe there... |

Your characters are very much original, i like them, though in this design there's just too much goin on, it's a bit busy and disoriented, also not to heavly fasinated about the line work and the cheesy text, takes away from the full arrangement of your characters. As I've also been nagged on personally a great background is ALWAYS as important as great characters, no matter how hardcore they look. be good see it on a shirt template also...
