The donkey should be painted up like a zebra.
When I was in TJ last year I saw tons of zebra donkeys. :D

This donkey would bite my drawing hand if I tried to paint him like a zebra. I know what you're talking about, though.

A bit smaller, please! but it's nice.

It's okay...

I think that the areas of random shading and the disproportion of the donkey and the writing upset the picture...

The shading doesn't look as bunched up when the picture is bigger. I'm not sure what you mean about the donkey.

Reminds me of the "your Dad is not a horse's butt" commercials.
The writing on the bucket bothers me. I know that it is supposed to look messy but I think it needs to be cleaned up a bit.

i spent the summer of my 21st year dizzy in the streets of Agua Prieta, cursing my faith in the “friends” who had convinced me to spend my last spring break in mexico – and had long since abandoned me. i kept tabs on the value of the American dollar, hoping that somehow the two pennies in my pocket next to the knife and the dwindling inventory of chicle i’d stolen from a kid drifting in the street would gain enough ground on the peso even to let me call home, nevermind get there. after learning early on that no street is empty at night, no matter how ghostly abandoned it seems, i slept not only with eyes open but with feet moving: marching toward no place at all but the next sliver of light that could prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that there was no one hiding around the next corner. five weeks in, i finally stumbled on a street corner and stayed there: probably for days. i woke up to the empty eyes and putrid smell of the burro standing over me. because i had hurt business, i was put to work attracting americanos who, given the right combination of the sun’s unbearable heat, my unbearable persistence and a bit of cerveza, could be dazed into deciding to pay a few dollars to have their picture taken standing next to Carlos (the donkey). i couldn’t tell you how long it took: every day was the same series of forced smiles, dumb kids, and fly bites that seemed to expand beyond reasonable limits. however long it was, though, i earned enough to make my escape, the donkey’s owner never guessing i’d be foolish enough to run after nightfall. before I ran, Carlos gazed at me longingly: knowing I was about to claim the freedom that he never could.

print this one for Carlos.

I love the guy's hair... But yeah, I hope you change the writing. It just doesn't look right.

It's a nice drawing, but not something I would wear on a shirt. (Maybe that comes from having never been to Mexico.)

It would probably have more universal appeal if it were Juan Valdez offering picture. And drinking coffee.

Or something, I don't know.

I really like it, but the hand with the cigarette in looks a little small. Apart from that, I really like it.

I like this, but you need to either shade more, or don't shade at all. Only 3 of the donkey's legs are shaded, etc. Also, something weird about the arms and hand of this guy... size seems to be off a bit. I don't mind the writing though.

I'm happy with the way it came out and think it would look good big rather than smaller. I shaded the inside of the donkey's legs... you only see the outside of the third one.
