Really sweet design, the artwork is great, as far as content for a shirt? im not sure i would wear this one. I'd like to see it stripped to just the angel.

yeah, it's good to see someone doing their own thing and not tailoring it to the "standard" threadless style. more please! (well, personally i don't like this pukey green colour, but you know what i mean...)

I like, except for the 'matrix' text. also, looks a bit like the 'total information awareness' shirt on tanktheory.com. edges of wings might not wear well - too close to armpits.

When I look at it. I see colors. Colors that aren't there. And some colors that are. It reminds me a lot of my younger years. Mindkillaz, if that's your real name, I look forward to meeting you in the future.

I almost think it needs to be a tad smaller just so the tips of the wings don't get distorted when worn, but otherwise it's very pretty.

regardless of what anyone says, this is some extrememly fine work.
yes, the text is a little much, but personally, i think it helps keeps the picture together. i'm picturing it without it, and it just doesn't look as proper to me. reminds me of something jacob bannon of converge would create. fantastic my friend...fan-fucking-tastic. if it never makes printing, e.mail me, and i want one for myself. seriously. |

element8, I had never heard of Jacob Bannon, but it is funny he attended the Art
Institute of Boston. I went to the one in Houston. We share a very crunchy design style, but I think we have different results. I will definitely email you if it doesn't get printed! I hear ya Ivan. McKean is my absolute fav. But honestly, I don't think there is one person out there doing dark work that ISN'T influeneced by what he has done for the industry. As a matter of fact, I don't know that I have seen anything that has not been influenced by another artist or style. |

It looks great. I'd love to see it on black. the nail seems to be a little too dominant- maybe lose a little bit of the light halo around it so it blends in more. I like the type, but I think it could use a bit of work, maybe see if you can find an old German Gothic font of some sort. Anyway, I really like it.

....yeah; i know what you´re saying. All the kids are just going berserk on this(which is a bitching good tee)and I felt kind of old trying to find new stuff in it. And all I could see was Mr. McK. No harms ment, mate.

This is really good, perfectly executed and good colours. Not really my style and probably really pricey to print up tho with all the gradients going on.. Dave Mckean Rules, not saying this is derivative either but the influence is there and that's a good thing.

I personally like the electro-goth style yet
I truely think that the text should go or to be noticed more perhaps take the most powerfull line in the poem and use it as an integral element in the work. |

star69 on Mar 10 '04 transparencies won't work with screenprinting. and too much details to works with screenprint too. but nixe design except this matrux text, throw it away.
