The colors make me think that it would taste like a sour sucker. Yum.

Making his "neck" look more like a classic lolly pop stick (skinny and white) and adding more shine to the head would make it easier to recognize.

Just my two cents...would look awesome if it were just a lollypop and a speech bubble saying suck me. Maybe in one of those tins at the shops....and he's trying to be smooth and calm standing out from the rest?

i think that its a awesome design. if you find it offensive dont bother with it then. but you cant deny the quality of the actual work
