i like the imagery and execution, but i feel like this is a tired idea. i can think of at least 2 or 3 other designs using the exact same idea but with different animals

hogboy on May 15 '07 I personally hate really large contiguous areas of solid plastisol. Aside from what I feel is the stylistic suitability in this instance, 'fading' serves the practical purpose of breaking those areas of ink up.
Distressing has been used fairly commonly as a technique since screenprinting began & with the limited arsenal of tools available to create texture within the process I don't really see it as a trend. I hope that didnt sound too defensive. |
