This design of dissent depicts warfare and was influenced by the song "Bomb. Repeat. Bomb." by Ted Leo and the Pharmacists.

you know this doesn't go with the theme, right?

I can't say what your interpretation of the theme is, DrVSP. This is my interpretation. The lyrics of the song speak volumes on warfare, and the United States is currently in a war that many feel shouldn't be taking place. From that political tension voices of protest will be heard. This is one small voice that reflects the song from which it was inspired. What's one way to live with the living? Eliminate those whom you cannot live with.

. . . but it really doesn't speak anything on warfare, it just shows a jet dropping bombs. Also, visually the perspectives are different on the jets and the bombs.

Other than testing, does a jet normally just drop bombs for fun? I'm pretty sure if a plane is dropping bombs there is a pretty serious reason behind it and someone is trying to destroy something. Sounds like war to me, but thanks for your opinion :)

The theme is "Living with The Living", not Bomb Repeat Bomb.

So, DrVSP is correct. It doesn't exactly fit the theme.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree about the theme. I chose to take influence from the song's lyrics to make a statement about living with the living. As I said earlier, one way to live with the living is to eliminate those whom you cannot live with. There are people in the world that have this attitude, and when those people are world powers who cannot live in peace, war insues. I think both the song and my design make a fair statement on the theme "Living with the Living"

The design smacks of giving me that stick-on decal feeling.
