The "rungs" are only single base pairs between the sugar-phosphate backbone, but I guess that wouldn't work with what you were trying to do in the design. It's still nicely done, and I know a few of my genetics profs would buy it. Just too blocky for my taste.

Love the concept, but I agree that it is too blocky. A fade at the edges would make this $5 for me, and I'd buy it. $4 as it. I like it a lot.

Awesome! Great Job! Maybe you could have the letters on top either fading in or coming from the shoulder seams, rather than just coming out of nowhere.

I wish I could find the phosphate deoxyribose backbone, and the TATA box, and the fade out at the bottom confuses me. Could they be codons instead? Oh, how about you end is with the stop codon for transcription.
