Pollack is an acquired taste.
Some (read: I) might have called him a hack.
But yeah, my 2 cents says add a few more colors.
Also, the use of space around the neck and sleeves is good.
All in all, I'm ambivolent. A 2.5.

I like the idea a lot, but I think it would work better for me if the paint splotches were a little more...splotchy? Less smeary.

although it would also look good with many colors, i love the blue and red combo...maybe have the painter holding the paint can over their head, in stead of the brush

It woud be more awesome if the splatters looked more realistic, so you can't tell if they're part of the T-shirt or not.

Good concept, but I would prefer it more if it looked like a near finished Pollock.

I agree that the splatters need to look more like splatters. Seeing it with some different colors might be nice too.

thats not what splatters would really look like. and the colors are too patriotic.

pollock did his paintings on the floor of his studio. thus, this shirt is factually inaccurate.

I don't think the designer was hoping to draw comparisons to Pollock. We're talking about two completely different levels of artistic expression as if they're the same. However, the splotches of paint could use more work and the intent is unclear. With more background and detail, this could work.

eh... just reminds me of all the bs splatter paintings out there... not good on canvas, and not working on a shirt... i like the idea of the person in the corner, but the splatter is disappointing.

Ha, someone should do a study on the effect of scantily clad models on Threadless scores
