I might like the stamp with envelope stuff more than th hand pointing at my mammaries, but overall quite nice.

Like it.

i'd like it better if it was the other way around. it just makes more sense to me (and no finger to the nipple, always a plus).

for those who cannot read the above post - you are not alone

This sub is kinda iffy - I don't think it will do well but I had to sub it because I think it would be a pretty cool shirt in the real world
StaticFactory
StaticFactory on Apr 20 '07
You know, I have bigger boobs than I'd prefer to have already, so I kinda don't need a T-shirt with a finger pointing them out...

But I love the idea. I'll give it a 5--please change the stamp *laughs nervously and runs off*
ISABOA
   ISABOA on Apr 20 '07
yeah - I didn't want it pointing to the belly, armpit or crotch so I had to settle on BOOB -
jenraskopf
jenraskopf on Apr 20 '07
I actually don't mind it pointing. People look at boobs anyway. I just need to know if you're allowed to wear pants with it? I noticed the model wasn't allowed.

It's a really cool and unique design though.

That's amazing.
Besides the whole finger-pointing-at-boob issue.
If you could find another possible place to put it
I'd totally wear this shirt.
hanzabean
hanzabean on Apr 20 '07
I like the idea...
but for those of us without perfectly flat stomachs,
it'd look funky.

I wouldn't mind seeing it without the envelope lines (people would still get the idea, I think).
ISABOA
   ISABOA on Apr 20 '07
I think in the real world with the way the lines go it would be complimentary to bellies AND boobs.

lilfuhgetab0utit
lilfuhgetab0utit on Apr 20 '07
yeah i agree with vidalfyre if you made the lines horrizontal you wouldnt have the whole pointing to the boob issue if you put the return to sender in the bottom left corner

in = is - right
The username Robi is taken
I disagree to those who say the lines should go the other way. It looks like the model has a little vest buttoned up only in the middle- Cute.

As for the pointing at the nipple, yeah thats good too, gets attention.

would it look too strange if the front and back were reversed? just trying to solve the finger pointing thing! but, great idea!

Very interesting...I like it. Maybe lighten the black lines, but keep the vertical orientation. And to solve the hand problem, maybe reverse the design, so the finger is pointing upward on a shoulder. Either way, great design, definitely something I've never seen before. 5.

Thuraya on Apr 22 '07
I don't know if it is different here, but the address (to and from ) and the stamp are all on the font of an envelope and therefore the return to sender stamp would also be on the front. In either case, I would prefer the back of the envelope on the back of the shirt.

Rozco on Apr 22 '07

KDelrossso
KDelrossso on Apr 22 '07
Flip the front and back. The stamp on the front would be cute and you aviod the whole awkward lines around the chest. I feel like a lot of girls would avoid it because of the way the black lines fall around the chest area. Besides, thats on the back of the envelope anyways. It makes more sense that way I think.

ajsolid84
ajsolid84 on Apr 22 '07
Yeah... Thuraya is right... I stamp envelopes with a "return to sender" stamp all the time, and it goes on the front of the envelope, not the back. In other words it's on the side with the stamp and address, so you have it on the wrong side.
FRICKINAWESOME
FRICKINAWESOME on Apr 23 '07
It's probably been said several times now, but i adore what you have done by turning me into a dejected postage letter! I tend to agree with the others about putting the stamp on the front (maybe with a nice cursive writing to some english ambassador as the address), and then the return to send on the back with the envelope creases. Any way this is printed, i'd buy it though. I'm sure this original and awesome idea will not get the score it deserves, but say la vee! 4$

another vote for flipping front and back. And a lighter hand on the black lines. No address=lost opportunity for cleverness

remove the black lines OR make them like 1pixel thin / or (0.25pt)

it's an interesting and creative idea.
rkbush
rkbush on Apr 24 '07
In the real world, the stamp would be on the front of the envelope. The incorrect address would have a slash through it and the return to sender stamp would be pointing to the senders address. I vote for putting the stamp on the front WITH the finger pointing at the hip and add an illegible address!!!
rkbush
rkbush on Apr 24 '07
Oh... and if you must have the envelope lines, put them on the back of the shirt all alone.
veeruska
veeruska on Apr 24 '07
I think the black heavy lines in front are ESSENTIAL, They make this shirt cool.
ISABOA
   ISABOA on Apr 24 '07
yeah - it looks stark on the design - but I think in reality the bold lines will work better than black and gray or a thinner line (thin would get lost)
- I dunno .... My point was not to make the envelope realistic but to have all the stuff there to make the visual connection.

TheStars
TheStars on Apr 24 '07
Awesome idea! I love it...the hand definitely doesn't do much for me though. Have you thought of switching it so it's on the back? It's technically the back of the envelope, right? That might work. Hahaha...if you don't mind hands pointing at your bum anyway ;)

Excellent work though.

i think its sort of a good idea, but the black lines are very dark, and don't match the labels on the shirt.

Can the front be the back and the back be the front? Doesn' it back sense that the back of the envelope would be along your back?
thelottery
thelottery on Apr 27 '07
This may have been said already... sorry... didn't read all the posts above. I think this idea is good, but the solid black, almost cartoony lines that make the envelope don't fit the style of the rest of the shirt. I'd consider trying to do a halftone of a photographic envelope instead. Something really subtle, just to hint at the flaps and folds.

k-b
k-b on Apr 27 '07
Maybe switch the back and front. The lines don't do so good up against boobies. If you turned it around it'd be as theought the front of the envelope was the front of the humnan. Then $5

The Wee Straggler on Apr 27 '07
Three thoughts on that
1. I'm serious about the fans. I think you have clout now.
2. I think critiqued designs score better if only because there are people who liked it who are on the lookout for it.
3. This is very obvious what it is at first glance, which is something that's important to a lot of the voters. I think a lot of designs are dragged down by "huh I don't get it" and "too complicated" votes.
