I love the halftone touch of all your designs, and I love particulary this one because I ADORE Robby, the robot of The Forbidden Planet retro sci-fi movie. Itīs funny to see him helping a platypus! Congrats!

mezo on Apr 20 '07 Colors are really super and fit your theme well. I also like th eold school robot, but his legs feel weird. Like they are too "V" shaped. Make sense? Seems it'd be impossible to walk. Even for an early manufactured 'bot. 5

Forbidden Planet was always my favourite film version of Shakespeare's The Tempest, and frankly I always felt what The Tempest was lacking was sufficient platypi.

mezo, that's how Robby's legs look in the poster that WanderingBert is having fun with. Since the movie "Forbidden Planet" was a Sci Fi take on Shakespeare's "Tempest" which deals with a father's sexual desires for his daughter, the robot is the phallic element and the platypus is the spoof V-element. ha ha ha ha |
