Wait. Just hold on. The other day someone put up for critique, or maybe it was a sub, whatever, but it was building blocks and cranes. The call went out that it was too similar to the Jenga one. Where is the outrage here..?
Don't get me wrong, I like all three, and will rate this one accordingly. But this is, in my opinion, closer to Jenga than plain old building blocks. Sorry for the rant, it's just that I really don't get people sometimes. |

FRICKINAWESOME on Apr 20 '07 So there are a ton of tetris subs already out there. But when one of these designs FIANLLY hits upon a combo of the point of why i love tetris so much, and puts it in a realistic building setting and combines the elements so well when there is so much stylistic contrast means a re-evaluation of the sub to me, people. 5$ for this, as you have captured everything i've ever wanted in a tetris design on this shirt image. Extra points (if i could) for the awesome and convincingly cohesive 3-d effect on the piece being lowered into the playing field. The only thing i would change is that the deisgn not have so many holes and other horrible newbie atrocities, and instead be built up with smaller errors but the piece being lowered in could fit in a very easy-to-fix spot. If this isn't printed on Threadless, make sure it gets printed somewhere else karnaf! Awesome stuff!

Dude. The square blocks all need to be one color. The long, skinny ones need to be one color. You catch the idea, right?

OMG it really is a block-setting crane, viz:
Insanely detailed crane model The crane tower looks a little too obviously like shorter towers collaged together. (Yeah, yeah, everybody's a critic.) Great concept, though! |

I like it a lot! I agree with FRICKINAWESOME about the holes in the structure, and one thing that could also be a slight improvement would be if you kept the colour consistent with the shape of the pieces, other than that I love this and give it a 5! :)

It’s been said, but I’ll repeat it for clarity; the bottom row should have disappeared. Other than some slight pickiness I love this design, and I would buy one instantly on some type of credit card.
