Why combine these two names for no reason. In no way are Metallica and Mattel even remotely related in a way that would have this design make sense.
Like Torakamikaze said, it would only make sense if you had something like Barbie doll versions of the members of Metallica. Or if you add other Toy Company / Rock Band cross breeds to create some sort of random theme.

Push this idea further. It can be clever, but right now it is not.
