Little girl in a hooker dress.

yeah, the girl makes me a little uncomfortable, like a lolita. Not sure I'd be too comfortable walking down a grocery store aisle with this shirt.

I love the design overall. I love the butterfly kite. I agree about the little girl though. Maybe if you put more of a sundress that is a little longer on her instead, it would go over better.

Yeah I love everything else, design, colours, everything but the girl could be a little less creepy.

I really like it, but yes, the character needs some work. Her right arm and a longer dress, maybe a bit more design in it, or keep it plain and simple.

i would love love love this shirt if the girl looked a bit younger (her face is very barbie) and her clothes were more appropriate.

love it. and yea, the dress is a bit akward... i do know "long shirts" or "really short dresses" are very in.... but i'm assuming this girl is a bit too young for such trasky fashion. though, overall i love it and would be proud to wear it!

you know, I don't think you need the flower part of this design at all. I agree with the 'picking a wedgie' comment too. (something about the legs + hand behind back combo!) What about moving that arm around to the front so she's holding the string with both hands? Otherwise it's very pretty!

Leave the dress length alone: kinda shirley temple in pigtails. It is sad people are so jaded these days... little girls used to wear that all the time, so did little boys for that matter!



The stance on the other hand looks a little uncomfortable. I like the flowers, but they do not look quite like they fit. Definitely keep the artwork on those for another tee though! I love those flowers (just not here)!

I like this. Personally, If you changed the girl, i'm not sure it would want the shirt. The innocence really rounds the image out, gives it a simplistic beauty. I used to run around in an oversized shirt that i had stretched with my knees giving it that look when i was a kid. This image brings back the feel of youth for me. It is rather sad that the first thought people have when they see innocence is dirty. This shirt is perfect AS-IS... and i wouldnt buy it any other way. Its truly beautiful. Good work.

Perhaps to make her look less wedgie like, you could have her laughing! That would make her a lot less 'lolita' looking... its just her hand holding the kite, but it could be reaching out like when a person really flies a kite :) Its awesome though - I love the colors!

The dress is fine, it's her hand placement. (I have to admit, I kinda cringed at first because she looked like she was doing something inappropriate.)

And her face sort of looks like a Bratz doll. I like her EXPRESSION (somehow wise; I love wise little kids), but not so much her FEATURES.

It would be cuter, in my opinion, if the drawing-girl looked more like Olive in Little Miss Sunshine and not like an artificial standard of beauty imposed onto children far too young ... but then again I might just be a bitter homely girl ;)

I think the bottom of the girls dress is weird - but I love it. I'd love it even more if it was a green color scheme instead of blue.

Its too bad this wont make it to print. I can tell from the comments so far that its, too "something" ... some put the blame on the girls hips, some on hand placement, some see the "pee-pee dance", some think her lip color is too dark and looks like makeup, some think the dress/shirt is too short, some think its shaped wrong, Some believe the image is trying to portray some imagined beauty, some dont like the flowers and how they might be implying femaleness in some dirty way. .... Honestly... I think you are all too caught up in how your own lives are mirrored by what you see. You place yourself in the place of the little girl and immediately bring out things from the image. You take her hand from the kite string and place it on her Area. .... Plain and simple, YOU dirty this image... YOU the viewer is visualizing something as sexualized. Not the image itself. I saw this and my first thought was how innocent and childlike the girl was. And then i read the comments.... You all should be ashamed of yourselves.

I absolutely adore this image, though I'm not quite sure I could wear it to work unless her skirt was a bit longer. If it were, I'd buy it immediately.

Xardox, I agree with you 100%. There is nothing "Lolita" about this image at all. Its a beautiful young girl holding a butterfly kite. THATS ALL. Where on earth is everyone getting the sexually suggestive material from?? The only thing that I would probably change about this design are the flowers in the corner; the girl and the kite can easily carry this design on their own without the flowers. Nice work SandySan, I love it.
