I LOVE the scribbledy drawring. BUt, you guessed it:
Lose the text. Then make the tongue a little less exaggerated to tighten up the balance. Have a couple of pennies, gratis. |

The text and the drawing don't go well together. Either the text needs to be sketchy too, or clean up the frog. One style throughout the design will make it better. ProfessorE, if you lose the text it is just an uninteresting frog. What's so horrible about text?!

DrVSP - nothing is horrible about text. I rather like typography. Maybe your idea is better, make the text hand drawn and scratchy. Better that than lose the look that the frog has now.
However, then the lilypad should be scribbledy, too. |

I agree with DrVSP...are threadless users all "too artsy" for text?? sometimes it works, don't be so rigid!

Making either the frog match the typing or the typing match the frog, either way right now it just looks...awkard? Thats the only way I can put it. 4

The text doesn't work with the frog. I'd prefer to see a really slick frog in a style that matches the typeface.

thanks for the comments! its my first submission and its sort of inspired by a clasmate of mine. haha
As for the 'sketchiness'(if thats even a word), i wanted it to look messy and i couldn't make the text all swirly too if not it'll be a BIG mass of scribbles. hope you all like it anyway! |

I don't like how the text, the frog, and the lily pad are all completely different styles. It really doesn't work for me like that.
