since monsters can't play any instruments (at least not very well), what would monster buskers do in the streets to get your attention (and your money)? they recite random words! the text on the note on the bottom says "random words" and "danke sehr". for the word haters of you, of course you can leave the random words, so the note on the bottom would only say "danke sehr". i guess this would be okay as well.

i'd prefer "gold" as shirt color.

so much explanation... it seems unnecessary. I guess it's cool to have random words, but why not just leave a little hat with some change in it. Maybe a few bills to so the point is clearer with less explanation.

Macaroni only has one "c"..unless there's another "macaroni" I don't know about :P

I like it now that I have an explanation, but I think I'd get tired of explaining it to everyone else. It really needs to be obvious without a lengthy explanation.

mmm yeah, the explanation is too long. people are bound to ask what it's all about. i suggest dropping the text and just simply those two monsters on the shirt. it'd be a lot easier, instead of going through all the detailed explanation of how they can't play instruments or whatever.

Ah, I was just thinking what a fun word that is...hear it up in Canada, but in the states they mostly call them panhandlers/street performers/bums. Busker is so much more charming.

i like the explanation. but then, i like explaining odd t-shirts.

perhaps put the words in a speech bubble... maybe with elipses! or maybe not. i like it as is, regardless.

danke sehr is kind of off, like Alexandra Marie said. i like the style but i don't think your idea comes off as well as it could have, and in addition, macaroni only has one c. otherwise, cute.

"BUSKERS": well i know that you don't hear that word much. i found it in an old dictionary and it says, that the expression is "chiefly british". i agree with mephitine, it is more charming than street performes etc., and i think i fits perfectly for monsters. especially that kind of monsters we have here.

"EXPLANATION": i don't think that explaining it will be so hard. the box on the floor (with the money and the note saying "random words") is okay, i guess. the thing that monsters can't play intruments was just an idea i had, when writing the text for threadless...

I like the way the text is handled...and the characters are sweet. But, I do not want to wear a shirt that says 'ovulation' on it. Especially when it is next to a pubic hair-covered monster. Also, I think the tray & 'random words' note could be left off. It makes the design off balanced and doesn't add much to it. 3

I like it a lot, but I think it might actually be better if you left out the collection platter thing. As it is, I didn't get the joke, and had to read your description, so it might be cool just to have it be totally surreal. I also think the little red collection thingy doesn't quite fit visually. Other than that though, cool design. I would very likely buy this if you took the platter thing out. 5.

actually, one more thing that might make it better: if you made the monsters really big, like had them take up most of the shirt. As it is, it's pretty traditional looking for a t-shirt, i.e. the design is on the chest where it usually is. It would be a lot cooler and more unusual/eyecatching if the monsters were really big.

oh yeah, and don't do the bottom right placement. That never looks good.

Just monsters... it's way too complicated with the whole "they can't play instruments so I put German on here, but my aunt didn't like glazed donuts and that's seven ways to Kevin Bacon" explanation.

I actually like it with the words...placement on the bottom of the shirt would make it more interesting...centered chest placement is so typical...
