The green and head shape kinda remind me of a frog. I like the concept, it just needs to look more like a cricket and the fiddle needs to be placed where it's actually played.

I agree with all the previous comments about fiddles and antenna, but also, the bubble seems a little large.

crickets are generally black, or at least dark.

I thought it was a turtle, sorry. I agree with the antennae remark and the wings could be more prominent...

Crickets are often brown/black with bigger (and more) legs. Perhaps its meant to be a grasshopper (still needs more & different legs)? A little confusing.
Legs bigger, more rounded head, etc. Take a look at picks of real crickets/grasshoppers then try it again. I really love the idea, and you have some good skill, so give it another go! |

If u want to anthro' theh insect (two arms two legs) need to emphasise the other "insect" characteristics. I really thought this was a strange frog...
