hahaha same
just so people go... wtf.. infact i do that to everyone... i try to confuse people as much as possible |
:3
I'll never look at my toast the same way again. Maybe they'll kill me with their grapelicious beams when I'm not looking. $5 |
No. It makes no sense at all in English. I'm guessing it's supposed to be tanning beds or something.
once again, the lever is in the down position whilst the toast is popped up...
as hermes says, "that only raises even more questions!" |
What I want to transmit of comical form, is that the toaster is for the toast a few beams grape, and because of it the cartel is beams grape 1hora / 5$
Reading the comments on this one is hilarious. I have to say, it is much more hilarious with the mistranslation. What an awesome slip up :D
Please keep the mistranslation. It's lovely.
En ingles es lo mismo a diciendo "piso manzana." Pero me encanta. Es mejor. |
Ok in spanish UV rays are called "rayos uva". And uva is grape in english...which leads to a hilarious translation. $5 because it's weird and I like bread.
Hahaha I love mistranslations. UV(engl.) = UVA(spanish)= grape(english); Rayos = ray beams.., here made into a verb. All this = hilaylay.
A+! |
i agree with giraffehead,
we should add TyTorrent's comment below it... "I don't understand. I eat my grapes unbeamed!" i like the design how it is. i'd buy it. |
Ahhhhhh this page is sooo funny. I want to keep it forever and ever. I also agree with giraffe, you REALLY should put those comments on the shirt.
You know what else is funny?
Consider what a piece of toast would look like after an hour in the toaster! Totally beamed to grapes! |
I agree with giraffehead. I collect Engrish from Japan, and this is so damn cute. (I would collect Engrish of many lands, but Japanese is my major). LOVE IT!
you should have the piece coming out of the toaster darker and have another very white one wearing tanning goggles or something in line
VIVA LA BEAMS GRAPE!
good ole beams grape. this is hilarious. also, for future reference, we say $5, not 5$ With the confusing exception of Threadless where "5$" means a score of 5 and "I'd buy it". |
"I don't think many people would understand it. :/" frenchfried
I really don't think it matters though. That's part of the appeal. |
For some odd reason, I really, deeply want this shirt now. I need it, especially before I go to spain.
:) by the time i reached the bottom of the page i was crying with laughter
i would buy it now of course |
I love this. especially with the mistranslation.
it makes it all the more amazing. and will be hilarious to explain to people. grape actually works kind of well... grape jelly! |
get over the toast/toaster, it has been done before so many times. you just proved that the saying an "idea never goes out of style" is false.
Hahaha. So hilarious!
At first I didn't get it, but now that I understand.. It's too funny of an opp to pass up!! |
Beams Grape is my new favourite phrase of the day! I need to find a conversation where I can casually work "beams grape" in.
Beams grape? All I can think off is someone with their mouth crammed with grapes, grinning. Man those translators suck. THAT'S meant to be tanning beds?
Also make it $5/1 hour |
this is intensely good, i stared at it for like five minutes trying to figure out what grapes were being beamed...
duuuude, beams grapes all the way. 5$ for an hour and forever. |
oh my goodness, after reading all the comments and laughing my butt off....i want to buy it just for the story. and someone should imortalize these comments on a shirt somewhere. oh dear. 5!
if the back were to include the story of beams grape that would make it an epic reprinting masterpeice!
Hahaha, this makes me laugh out loud 'cause of the mistranslation. I'm sure that if you didn't realise it was a mistranslation it wouldn't be so great :D
