No. It makes no sense at all in English. I'm guessing it's supposed to be tanning beds or something.

ps. Readystyle, we're not laughing at you. We're laughing at the "translator". Your drawing is well executed and your idea is worth persuing. You might put your stuff on the critique blog first next time and we can help with translations.

Ok in spanish UV rays are called "rayos uva". And uva is grape in english...which leads to a hilarious translation. $5 because it's weird and I like bread.

I would absoloutly buy this shirt with the mistranslation. ReadyStyle's explanation is so great and should be printed on the back...

"What I want to transmit of comical form, is that the toaster is for the toast a few beams grape, and because of it the cartel is beams grape 1hora / 5$"

To go even farther place TyTorrent's comment below it...

"I don't understand. I eat my grapes unbeamed!"

All of your designs have been fun and imaginitive. Keep it up ReadyStyle.

Hahaha I love mistranslations. UV(engl.) = UVA(spanish)= grape(english); Rayos = ray beams.., here made into a verb. All this = hilaylay.

A+!

I'd say keep it in Spanish or fix the English. So many designs rely on vague concepts or designs that could only be explained if you knew what the title was. A great design has to work independent of any explanation.

i agree with giraffehead,

we should add TyTorrent's comment below it...

I think we should type "beams grape" into a translator, translate it back to spanish, translate that into french, translate that into german, and then back into english to see what happens. Wait, I'll do it for you.

"Celanese the grape/cluster"

Excellent design, especially since I don't tan cuz I'm already black. I'd wear it as is.

I thought the mistranslation was a deliberate play on words, my father is bilingual and makes puns like that a lot. Here in Arizona many people are bilingual- with the untranslated title Rayos UVA as a caption it is hysterical.

("puns" - for those using a translator is a type of word play, the word "pun" to my knowledge does not come up in babblefish )
