It's kind of confusing without what you wrote below. I didn't read that right away and I didn't get why a turtle and a duck and their "kid" were looking at a picture of a rabbit.
nobody read this fable when they were little? the tortoise and the hare? they race and the hare thinks he'll win hands down because the tortoise is so slow so he takes it easy, makes some stops along the way. the tortoise ends up winning because he just keeps on trucking from beginning to end. the moral of the story was: slow and steady wins the race.
when you have to explain the joke, it's not funny anymore :( poo.
yeah! I am pretty sure we all get that it is based on that fable. BUT Why is the tortoise son going to race the hare again when his father or whoever already won the race? I don't get your point. Shouldnt the rabbit be the one with wings in his second attempt at racing the tortoise?
ya i get the fable, but why the geese? mother goose? i don't know, it doesn't come across right away, and the whole scene doesn't really make that much sense. but i like the artwork, maybe revise the idea or work towards something else!
