I like this shirt, and its a great illus. but I don't like the contrasting levels of detail for the frog and its victims.

Everything I don't like about it on the first glance becomes something I do like about it on the second glance. I like the colour and the way the toad is seemingly oblivious to the people.

Love the concept, love the color combination (flourescent pink on fuscia=amazing), love the animal. I actually kind of like the contrast between the levels of detail, but it'd be interesting to see it both ways. I also agree with the above comment. A tongue grabbing the people (or just on the ground next to one of them) would be hilarious. $5.

I'm not big on the little people running away, but oh how I love that hot pink on red. The color combo alone makes me want to give this a 5. I know that the people running away from the toad is the whole idea here, but that's simply not what interests me about this design.

The things I like :
the toad and the coloring look great ! other things : I agree with mephitine about the running people not holding my interest. I also agree with artbrains about the need for a shadow under the toad. |

I very mush DO like the contrast in detail between the toad and the people. Although the concept is a little lacking, the aesthetic quality is great. A bit smaller might be good.

I wouldn't wear this because of the colours, but the idea is great. At first I was like 'Awh, frog!', and then I saw the people running away and thought 'Ohnoes monster frog!' :P

mezo on Apr 10 '07 The frog is pretty rad but your people could be improved, add more detail, then add more hysterical people. Just a few of them, being silhoettes, is not giving us the action you are probably going for.

People are saying the colors are good, I really disagree, red & pink. Not good contrasting colors.
