close-up i think this is well-done and very clever... but in terms of practicality it's not very identifiably "80's" from a distance.

They'd be more identifiable to those who were into hiphop during the 80s and even then you'd have had to be very entrenched in it to recognise the flyers. They are very area specific as they really only circulated in the NY area. check thisthis site out for more examples. This loves comp's theme is indeed very broad, but as the movie is about a break dancer I thought I'd concentrate my subs on that aspect of the 80s. Seemed to me kind of stupid to do a new wave 80s shirt when the movie is about hiphop |

ok really fun, but one part irks me... i'm pretty sure march 13, 1985 wasn't a friday lol... i was born march 14, 1985 and it was a thursday -- oooooother than that, awesome lol
