I really really like the idea, but what's up with the shape of that kid? To me It looks like he has the body of a dog and the legs of a grotesque duck.
And I also think it'd be better on a different colour. White is just so...white.

I like the concept but it needs a little work. I have to agree with TrimmTrabb, the body looks very strange. And I'd go for another color too.

I first thought he was playing a video game but then I thought I was wrong because I'm not sure what the cord is connected to. I'm sorry, I like that everything is made out of little birds and how you were able to eke out an expression on the kid's face using this method but I just don't get it. Upon second look I realize they aren't birds. They look like flies.

I'm lame, I keep looking to see him playing a video game but all I can see is this weird duck-type body and feet-hands that look like webbed duck feet in mittens. He's made up of scary wasp-looking bugs, and is attached to some sort of tether. Freaky.

Perhaps if his legs were up in the air, like children do, maybe even crossed at the ankles sticking up there wouldnt be so much confusion about the body. But I understood it. Good concept for this particular competition. fix the legs and its golden!

I love the idea of the kid playing the video game. Just make it a bit more obvious that that's what he's doing.
