Very clever, but I almost didn't recognize either Ronnie or Maggie (she had a longer face?). I don't think you should label them with their names, though. Maybe the grafitti on the wall could be some things they said, or major events of the eighties.

Robsoul on Apr 03 '07 Man, those textures are great, love your work. I don't think you should label the names, they are still very intriguing characters even if they are immediately recognizable by some. It's really about the clothes and the fact that these two haven't caught up with the present.
Although, fashion does have a way of repeating itself, but I pray that spandex never comes back into style. |

ryeofcali on Apr 03 '07 oh yeah, and the graffiti on the wall just says, " I love the eighties", but i didn't think that it was important to be able to read it, i just wanted some fat bubble eighties style graffiti lettering to add texture to the design.

This is a great design. I really had to laugh. I love how much Reagan looks like Fred Willard in "A Mighty Wind" with his hair like that. Who knew?

Wow. Great illustration!
The colors in the foreground and the background are the same and there's nothing really setting Ronald and Margaret apart. It all kinda blurs together for me :( |
